What browser are you using

hi tom,
its just IE (don't know what number but the pc is a brand new one from pc world only bought last week). can't download anything at all so haven't been able to try another browser but i've asked a mate if he would pop mozilla firefox on a disc for me. same with the updates, can't load them either. was wondering if it was more like a box that needed ticking somewhere. its not the security setting though because i've got that set to medium. asked in pc world but they just told me to format the hard drive because thats all they would anyway.

Check whether your security setting on your firewall or
IE security is at high . If at high bring it down to
mediam esp in trusted zone.
If not could possible you have Trojan or spyware somewhere tracking you .
Go download Ewido Anti Malware and SpyBot Search & Destroy . Also good is the Sophos Anti Virus and AVG
Anti Virus ( Home Edition )

Also I substanciate the use of Mozilla - Fire Fox .
Download them and the download "DownThemAll" a firefox
plug-in.

try ... and Good Luck..
