Of the steel industry. It has been going crazy for the last year and a half or so. It could simply be due to the fact that everything costs 3 times as much to make as it did 3 years ago. That really puts a damper on any kind of production.
Why, is this time period any different of other times?

I rememebr having no batteries, blankets, covers, and/or generators for jeeps to move around all the stuff we did have. Spare tires, nuts&bolts, swap and trade with other armed services for clothes, boots, welding rod, etc. as a matter of course. Of course we expected to have enough beans, bullets and banages, but the other stuff something was less than perfect. Duh...
