Does anybody know how to set up music mp3s on a phone, and turn them into ringtones. Is it possible?

I have taken some of my favorite songs, converted them to MP3 then edited it to approximately a 30 second clip. I then transfer it to my phone (used a data cable and also bluetooth) using BitPim software (http://www.bitpim.org/). You can also use BitPim to backup your contacts to your PC or transfer them to your phone.

You can also use this program to clip and edit your mp3s w/o using another program.

But you would or are also required to use a verizon media cable sold separately. depending on what phone you have. i know manuf like Samsung, LG, Nokia have special usb cables to connect the phone to your computer. but For moto you can use a USB cable that most digital cameras come with.
