Verizon, that's who. Just installed their third T-1 Hicap today for them.

with all of these added peoples getting on board, I hope Verizon is keeping their system up to date. My guess is...probably not; and that's probably the reason my netzero dsl is so crappy.

Is going to get a lot crappier when everyone in a VZ service area is on fiber. Might be years away but it will happen. Deregulation can't touch the fiber.
As far as "only a t-1"? That's all they ordered. Nothing is for free. You don't by boxter and then get a Carrera.
