I have a Dell desktop with windows 7 and I keep getting a total white page which doesn't want to go away. It occurs frequently and I don't know how to fix it.

Graphics card

Sorry to say, but it may be your graphics card Sad

I read somewhere that someone fixed the problem by changing the screensaver. Then the graphics card is OK. No harm to try.

Do you mean

that the whole Desktop display goes to a white screen, or that some browser window or some other application window goes to a white screen?

What happens when this occurs, any error messages?

White screens are not normally video card errors but application errors, and Windows 7 will work hard to try and resolve these.

Brand New?

Then I would make this a warranty issue.

Get the manufacturer/supplier involved and ask them to fix t.
