jac0077,
If it is only happening on certain channels, it's probably the cable box. The best determiniation is to look at the other inputs on the television (different HDMI or component connection). If you see that issue happening on those, it's likely the television. If it's strictly limited to certain channels, it may be the box or the actual transmission feed from the content provider.
Keep me posted!

I have seen some discussion on this but wanted to post anyway to see if there was a definitive fix. My 32A550 is new and if there's a problem, I cetainly want to address it before warranty runs out.
The TV is connected via component cables. It has the snap-on magnet that came with the TV to help interference. It is also plugged in to a Monster surge device. It is hooked up to an HD box as well.
Recently I have noticed small horizontal white lines on the bottom left of the screen. I haven't checked all channels, but this seems to happen on ABC for some reason. What I know about electronics is that things don't just happen. There's a reason why this is occuring.
While I love this TV, I have had some frustrations with it. I have posted about the HDMI issue as well as a weird occurance where I had no video but audio.
Lastly on this, the cable box was recently swapped out. If recommended, I could do that again.
Thanks!
