White G3 ibook 900 mhz memory problems

I have a ibook as title, i bought some new memory from orca, 512mb.
when i put it in, and re booted, it froze with a panic kernel message, i have taken it out, and all seems ok, but every where i look it says that i have the right memory 144-Pin SODIMM Memory - PC133 what can the problem be.

please help

The problem could be that the memory

is bad.
Ask he supplier to replace it

Max's out at 640MB, which I'm sure you already know.

Orca offers 100% compatibility and a lifetime warranty. Change it out, memory does occasionally go bad.
