That covers the wear and tear as well as a way to escalate this. I supplied a link about the life span issues of the DMD.
I am outraged. FOr the last week my 67 inch television has been experiencing the same white dot problem as many customers have expressed on this site. Many people have had their televisions fixed. However, when i sent a request to Samsung, I was told it was a "wear and tear" issue and that hey would not pay to repair the tv. That is total crap as Samsung is well aware of the problem and is trying to dodge this repair. I bought the tv in 2010 for a lot of money and if this is the way Samsung is going to treat its customers then I will no longer purchase these products, nor will my friends and family. Please help me get this issue fixed as it is not wear and tear. The accusation that it is wear and tear is insulting. The Model #: HLT6756WX/XAA Serial#: AJHJ3CKP703741A
