whit dots on my samsung DLP

i have white dot on my dlp the tv is almost 3 yrs old it started with 1 dot about a month ago and has progressed i now have about 12 some flicker but most are steady what should i do what parts ? and how much will it cost me. I know their is a lot of people with the same problem and most post say dmd board or dmd chip or the entire light engine

If the dots are stationary and are always in the same place, you most likely have a DLP (DMD) chip failing. It must more cost effective for a service tech to replace that chip than to replace the entire light engine.

just get ready....they number of dots will double for every 10-20 hours of use.
