While U Surf Adware

by qkhalid31 / July 17, 2006 6:52 AM PDT

Hi, new here. My computer was hijacked by this adware and i've tried spybot, adaware and it's not working. Can someone give me the best advice (website) on a removal program that works. Don't know if this info has been given before, but would appreciate it greatly.

Manual Instructions for Removing WhileUSurf

If you do not feel comfortable removing this manually, my suggestion would be not to. From what I'm reading, it seems as though a good deal of the anti-virus and anti-malware companies remove this. Are you using any virus protection? Anything other than Ad-Adware and Spybot?

You haven't told us which operating system you're using but if Windows 2000 or XP:

First, download, install, then update the Ewido program from the link below.

Ewido Security Suite

Once that's done, restart the computer into Safe Mode, using the instructions in the link below, then run Ewido plus ALL your other scanners while in Safe Mode. You may need to run them repeatedly till they find nothing.

How To Start In 'Safe Mode'

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes.
