That's the one that you find most pleasant to wear (weight, size, fit) and comes in the color you like (black, white, blue, pink, whatever) in the price class you prefer with the features and options you prefer.

I like the Motorola H710/720/etc headsets because I prefer on-ear rather than in-ear. And, I like that it has a physical switch to turn it on. It has basically a flip-mic. I just find that better feedback than pressing a soft button and trying to remember what the lights are supposed to look like, or interpreting the beeps.

The latest model is a little more expensive than I'd like. My last one, I bought one generation back, and it was closer to what I'd prefer to pay. Personally, I don't care about color. I think some models are silver and some are black. Can't remember if those were options within a given model.

You can add a mic to any headset. Check out the Antlion modmic. I personally use Sennheiser HD598 with a Modmic attached.
