Highpoint, NEC, VLI, VIA or Fresco Logic?

Fresco Logic FL1100SX (2-port) and FL1100EX (4-port) chipsets. are one of the newer USB 3.0 chipsets out and very fast and reliable. Drivers are built into Windows 8 and later. You can also download updated drivers at Fresco Logic website under support. The Inateck 3.0 PCI-E Expansion Cards that are RED in color use Fresco chipsets such as the Inateck KTU3FR-4P and KTU3FR-5O2I. They are on Amazon.
A client melted down over Fresco issues about a year ago. No safe haven there?
What happened Exactly?
I've used this with no issues on a T320 Server with 2012R2 with no problems. Reviews are excellent.

So maybe newer drivers sorted it out. But even last week you can see the 1 STAR review given over drivers for Windows 10. Seems folk are still reporting issues.
