Most of the laptop makers have free toll free lines. Call and ask for Sales. Tell them what you want for the price and see what they come up with.
I'm looking to replace my Thinkpad X230, which has multiple issues that'll cost more than the laptop itself to fix. The laptop should have a pointing stick and cost between 500-600. It would be great if there was a touchscreen option, but If there isn't its fine. The brand, Lenovo , Dell or some other. Ill mainly be doing writing tasks, presentations, excel, a little bit of gaming (Games pre-2007) and watching videos. I don't care about screen resolution and as long as it doesn't weigh as much as a brick I really don't mind the weight or thinness. Ill buy it new or if its in almost new refurbished.
Warranty would be great, but optional. No backlit keyboard needed, trackpad doesn't have to be amazing (Since ill use the pointing stick). Last thing- should have a SSD.
That's it, please give me the product line or ask for clarification if necessary.
