General discussion

Which Tablet will you buy?

Jan 9, 2011 12:27PM PST

I was already to use my tax refund for the new iPad (you know it's coming!) Now I am wondering if I should wait to see the Motorola Xoom or the Blackberry Playbook.
What do you think will be the best of the 3?
On the one hand Apple has had time to work all the bugs out. On the other hand Motorola will play flash and finally I have a Blackberry so it would be nice not to have to pay for an extra data play.
The only issue with Playbook? Size. I hope they come out with a 10"soon neough to make this decision easier!

I think the iPad ecosystem is going to be hard to top

for quite a while (a tablet is only as good as the native apps... not enlarged iPhone or Android phone apps... that are available), but the Motorola seems to be one of the more interesting of the bunch. Engadget has a handy table of all the tablets announced at CES this year (with their top contenders in bold): http://www.engadget.com/features/tablets-at-ces-2011/

But,

Blackberry has a chance, i'm in the same boat waiting for the refund. Think I'll skip the IPAD but I will have a good month or so before refunds are around. I hope the blackberry is great I'm expecting a larger size soon, but maybe not that soon.
