There are 7 and 9 inch models and for 99 bucks hard to beat.

Why is this limiting? You got it loaded and it's a great tablet. Sure, I really like the Google Nexus but you pay a lot more.

I have a friend who currently has many Nook books, but is reading A LOT ($500/mo on ebooks).
Amazon has the Kindle Unlimited subscription for $9.99/month which seems like a good idea and whilte B&N has many free books, it currently has no subscription comparable to Kindle Unlimited.
I'm trying to help my friend find an Android tablet that is 9" or smaller (easy to fit in purse) that can load both the Nook and Kindle apps and thus allow her to read from either platform. (I have both a Kindle and a Nook, and while I've side-loaded the Nook app onto the Kindle HDX, its operating system too locked down and limiting to work for my friend).
What is the best, most affordable tablet option for my friend?
