My 3 cents

I would have suggested the Sony but it's 60Hz. The Toshiba is 120Hz which I have on 2 TVs and I like. I have owned a 46" Toshiba LCD for 1.5 years and it has been excellent. So are my Sonys, but so is my Panny Plasma. By the way, CNET reviewed my Toshiba and it mentioned that Toshiba did the best job of any TV executing the 120Hz feature.

And the plus for Sony is;

PIP and M2TS support and 50 bucks (that's what I can see)...and I have no idea which to buy.

Do you already have surround sound speakers?

If not, and you are planning on using the built-in speakers, the Sony may have a leg on the Tosh. IME the built-in audio of many Sony HDTVs is pretty decent.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
