Good you did not fall for the Bose, they do not make Subs & their speakers are junk, it is all in the marketing.
What about the other speakers, you have those now? If so what are they, you get a sub that matchs the "cross-over"
Also what type of flooring? Because there is "OutLaw" subs but they are only good on hard floors
I'm looking forward to buying a home theater system and was going to buy a Bose system but then I thought it would be better to find some other brands. I picked up a Yamaha RX-V467BL 5.1 Channel 525 Watt AV Receiver. I need this system for a bedroom size 15 feet x 13 feet x 11 feet. Considering the above information which of the following subwoofers do you recommend? The Velodyne DEQ-8R, Velodyne DEQ-10R, Velodyne VX-11 or the Paradigm DSP-3100? I don't want extra large or smaller but enough for my room. I'm after very good quality (clarity) subwoofer. Your suggestions are highly welcome, thank you.
