For me either is a great phone. I'm currently carrying the iPhone 5s and LG G4. Both are a little dated but I get a lot of years from our phones.

The CNET Cheapskate shared a deal on the Moto G5 Plus so I have that now and will move to that from the G4 soon. I keep this link handy http://www.cnet.com/cheapskate/

I think Android has much more apps than iphone. Iphone also forces you to use apps that you might not want to.
