Which SLIM camera is best

Sep 16, 2005 11:19AM PDT

I'm looking for a slim digi cam that has great quality photos. I have the Sony T7 right now and noticed that it has a really weak flash. All my pictures from a distance of about 4 feet are blurry and very bad quality (they look like a photo that has been scanned...bad quality). But when you're within close range, the images are great. I want a camera that had quality images with all distances and second, i'm looking for a slim camera.

Slim Cameras

Weak flash --- When you have a slim camera, you have a slim battery.

Flash burns energy - the brighter the flash - the more energy it burns.

People want the battery to last a long time before needing recharging.
People want the flash to be bright.

The two ideas are not compatible.

.............

For thin cameras,
The best flash specification I have seen are:
Canon SD500 (16.4 feet)
Konica Minolta X1 (16.4 feet)

Easy Choice For Me

The only camera, of the four, with a viewfinder is the Canon SD400. And it has the best flash.

However.....I would not choose the SD400, I would choose the SD450 which was just introduced.

It has continuous shooting ability.
