Sep 8, 2013 5:58AM PDT

Hi I have bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 & I have difficulty deciding which case I should buy,
The ones that I have in mind are the Trident Aegis, the OtterBox Commuter & the Case Mate Tough.

Please tell what would you choose & if you have another on in mind.
Thank you in advance.

Otterbox.. I guess

I think you must go with the otter-box thing. It's the most durable case, initially designed for iphone's exclusively. For ultimate protection from shocks and water damages I think you must go for that only.

Do you need the case with waterproof and shockproof? You may try bFree Aqua s4 for Samsung GS4.

It totally depends on how you use your phone. But try to buy the case which would be durable and last longer.

A case that last longer than the phone might be useless for your next phone. So buying a cheap case that lasts as long as the contract for your phone might be a better idea than buying an expensive case you can't use anymore with your next phone.

Trade in value...
Sep 24, 2013 8:13PM PDT

I have bought "reasonable" cases for all my phones. Not the cheapest and not the very best either. If your phone falls from a considerable height and hits concrete at the perfect angle, it's going to have a good chance of breaking no matter what case you have. But a reasonable case can prevent a lot of scratches and wear-n-tear on your phone such that in a couple years when you want to upgrade, when you remove the case, the phone can look nearly new. This can be a great advantage when you consider the trade-in value.
