for a bedroom, viewing from about 8 ft away. Looking for a tv that will last. it will be hooked up to cable, but not sure an hd channel package (it's for my parents and their cable bill is high enough).

32-37

For a bedroom i would suggest at least 32 inches. 26 will be a bit to small in my opinion. But for a bedroom 32 to 37 inches is a great size. As for recommendations, if you are looking within the 600-700 price range i would go with the LN32A450 it's not 1080p but it's a great set. If you want a set that size with 1080p you can bump it up to the LN32A550 this one is around the 700-800 price range. You can also look into the LN32A650 but that one is a bit more pricey. All these models are 60Hz, if you want a set with 120Hz than you would have to go up to the 6 Series and up to 40 inches.

Thanks!

Now for the living room...! 40 inch in the $800-1200 range do you have a recommendation? It seems like there isn't a big difference between the 650 and 750
