Which Registry Cleaner

Feb 28, 2008 1:50AM PST

I need to clean my registry, I am quite good as far as the PC is concerned, but not to good with the registry.Could anyone recommend a good and simple Registry Cleaner, that would do one full scan before I have to pay for it,so I can evaluate it, as up till now every one that I have tried has wanted me to pay for it before it will do anything.
Thank in advance

Hi The couple of RCs that I have tried, have shown a lot of junk, my computer is very slow to start, pages take a long time to open and close,it will freeze when I am working, will not respond to me, and a few mins later will sort itself out.I just recently deleted a lot of programs that I have not used for a long time, as I have the CDs if I want to reinstall, thinking that would help but it hasnt, so last resort clean the registry, as I cant think of anything else that I havnt done.

Did you list out all the services and startup programs you are using?
