Which pvp should I get?

Ive been wanting a pvp for a while now and I think I am ready to purchase one but its hard for me to make the decision between the Archos AV 500 amd the Cowon A2. The cowon has double the battery life but less memory and thats whats holding me back any help will be appreciated.

I own neither of these players, but from what I saw, they are both fantastic. I think you should look at the cons and decide if they really matter. As to the one with not as much memory, you can always delete things if you need to.

Also look into creative's PVP.

Cowon A2

I'd go with the Cowon A2. I'll recycle the reasons why from one of my previous post Wink

1. Video Battery Life - The A2(10h) has 5.5 more hours of battery life for video than the AV500(4.5).
2. Screen - The A2 has 16 million color screen. The AV500 has only 262,000
3. Music Battery Life - The A2(18h) has 3 more hours of battery life for music than the AV500(15H)
4. Cost - The A2($419.99) is $79.96 less than the AV500($499.95)

Sure the AV500 has higher capacity models. However you can always switch out movies with the A2. I have around 900 songs (high quality mp3), 317 ebooks, 3K photos and about 60 full length movies on my A2. That's alot of stuff.

As far as battery life goes you can always carry around an extra battery for the AV500 but, that's yet another thing you'll have to carry around (Why bother?). Even with an extra battery the AV500 still falls short of the A2.

I personally own the cowon a2 and I couldnt be anymore happier. I was like you turning between the cowon and the archos, but I went for the cowon based on many factors. The battery life is amazing, I charge it maybe once per week and I use it quite a lot. Amazing screen and the built in speakers have a solid sound to them.
