I have a RAZR (yes, with Verizon). I haven't had any problems except that I had to get my first one replaced with another one due to a dead pixel. I text very often and I'm used to the keypad. It works very well for texting. However, I do not recommend a Chocolate for texting. The keys are at the very bottom of the phone so you are holding onto an inch of the phone, making it feel very cramped and uncomfortable. However, when it comes to call quality and battery life, I recommend the Chocolate. My choice would depend on which of those is more important to me; texting or call quality. Oh, and one more thing; the RAZR processor is extremely slow, so, unless you are a very patient person, that would pretty much turn the tide enough to make me get the Chocolate. Good luck!
Ready for a new phone, I have a very old LG flip phone.
I was ready to get the silver Razr, but the verizon employees said to stay away because they hear of too many problems. However, everyone I know with one has no problems.
I was also looking at the new chocolate, but I really do not need the MP3 capabilities. And I;m not sure about the slide mechanism since I'm used to the flip phones. (really wanted the LG8600, but I missed the $79 promo online and now it's $149 in store, I don't need a $149 phone) I really just want a nice slim phone to slide in my pocket... good phone sound quality, good battery life, and an occasional text and/or picture message.
I can get the Razr for $49. or the Chocoloate for $79. I'm not concerned about the price difference, just want a nice phone with good quality.
Thanks for your opinions!
