Question

Which phone?

Apr 20, 2015 9:41AM PDT

So I'm buying a new phone but I'm I don't know which to get, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Sony Xperia Z3 or the Samsung Galaxy S5.

From what I have read the Note is the better phone in every way but I'm a bit worried about the size and pocketability.

Does anybody have any hands in experience with these phones? And if so is there a big difference between them while in the pocket?

Thanks in advance for any replies

Clarification Request
This is all so subjective
Apr 21, 2015 3:20AM PDT

Understand, one person's experience or impression may vary wildly.

I'd look at Amazon reviews (for example) to see what sort of other things people mention. All of those phones have plenty of online reviews. The characteristics you mention here are the purely subjective stuff. If you hate small phones (for example) one with a bigger screen may be preferable (etc.).

Hit some stores and see which one you like best.

Good luck.

The Note is verry big, but is the best. Samsung S5 is the worst, if you have money than buy S6. Z3 have a good camera and is really good mobile phone.
1. Note
2. Z3
3. S5
Have you see G3 or G4 ?

My choice

I have an S5 now and I have to say the IR is the breaking factor for me. I really enjoy having IR on the phone and using it as a remote. I use Smart Remote and have all my devices loaded into it, as well an many macros. I think a lot of people over look this. I have a Logitech Harmony 650 that my wife and kids still use, but I never grab it any more.

Like me, I bought a cell phone is to consider the size, generally less than 5 inches before I can accept, but I do not know why, the most recent phone screen getting bigger.

Not the Sony

My experience with Sony consumer products has been of short warranty periods coupled with poor reliability, so I will not even consider their products.

Cannot answer for Samsung smart phones specifically, but personal experience with my Samsung Monitor and 2 TVs has been excellent over the past 8 years - no repairs.

Sony Xperia Z3

From my point of view Sony Xperia Z3 is the best. As we can see that Samsung Phone are always giving trouble in term of hanging as compared to Sony Xperia mobile phones which is very user friendly and very attractive in looks.

It's only my choice, for reference only.

First I have to say that I used to be a fan of Sony phones which have elegant outlooks and most importantly the No.1 camera of all the phones. However now it can not give a awesome after-sale service as Sony is declining in the phone market nowadays. therefore I do not recommend for it.

Secondly, if you have to choose from Samsung phones, the two types listed, I preferred Samsung Galaxy S5 which is water and dust resistant and smaller size. But to be honest, I do not like Samsung phones, they runs slow after using for sometime.

I had experience with Note 4 and that is one awesome phone, a bit big but fantastic. Experia is also good especially if you want a good camera. I also had an S5 which was alright but if you have money get an S6 not the edge but the normal people's phone Happy
