It is not a bad choice especially for the money. I have one myself but not with the 624 processor. There are 2 bad problems with dell. First their customer service is terrible. You will be talking to people that can barely say HI in english and the 2 hour wait time to get someone to say can I help you makes for a stressful situation. The other problem with the axim is that it freezes alot. There is a tiny button on the back of the x3 that you can push in to reset the system. This is a problem when you are constantly looking stuff up or taking notes in it. I have lost data that way. Mine freezes up usually 2-4 times a day. It can be quite frustrating. I have noticed that if I go slower in moving from one program to another or if I give it time to think then it doesn't freeze as often. But when you are in a hurry like I am to get from one program to another to look something else up you shouldn't have to stop and wait for the thing to think about what it is suppose to do next. I hope this has helped alittle. I would take a look at the HP's but there are so many models and the prices are alot steeper.

Try an IPAQ 2200/2700/3000 Series

I have a Casio E200 I still adore so much. I have an old HP Jornada 540 and recently purchased a HP 4705. Both are excellent devices. If you are looking for mobility/WiFi and to save money the HP 2700 or 3700 series are perfect fits. I love my new HP HX4700 series. I bought it off of Ebay brand new and I saved $200. HP has loads of accessories for them. Bluetooth and WiFi.

Good luck and happy shopping.
