If an owner used the battery daily the lifespan is about 18 months till you want a new battery. As far as run time, given the GPU and more I could bet the run time is from 1 to 4 hours depending on settings or use.

PS. Is there any way to tell battery life from a spec sheet? Both have 6 cell batteries, but I have found no where that lists such or any reviews.
