Question

Which of these Ethernet cables is better?

May 11, 2018 2:56AM PDT

I'm just confused about how these both are from the same company but the the cheaper blue one is double shielded however the slightly more expensive black one is only single shielded. I know both won't be much of a difference but just wanted to know which would be better?

The company page in Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/sp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=1&isCBA=&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&orderID=&seller=AX41VWIVMLJ8L&tab=&vasStoreID= says "postta is committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service.".

So the expectations of the results of asking it to them via the "ask a question" button on that page are quite high. If they don't answer or can't explain why one is better than the other, consider not buying any of the two.

Look at the length.

One is flat one is round that might make a difference to you.

Unless you are going to route these cables through an electrically noisy environment I doubt it will make a difference.

One is flat and the other round

and you've also linked to both a 5 meter and a 1 meter cable. What I see on my end is that the 5 meter cables are the same price for both flat and round. Your decision should probably be based on what length you need and your wire management needs. Flat cables may be better if you need to use raceways to hide them...my thoughts, anyway.
