Question

Which Notebook I should choose

May 16, 2017 10:04AM PDT

Hello everyone. I need your technological wisdom to help me decide which notebook I should buy.
I need a machine capable of editing high res images and videos and also be able to support some gaming on the side. I'm far from an expert in the field, but I do know I need a really good memory and video.
I'm told the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is a good buy. Going for 4000 bucks for me.

Other pepople have pointed me at a Lenovo Ideapad 310. It's Core i7-6500U, 8GB DDR4 (4gb + 4gb). It's only 3000 bucks.
I can afford both, but don't know which one to choose or even if there's a better machine ou there that suits my needs.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any replys. o/

Answer
Both are not gamer laptops.

The Dell is the old 940MX which is according to my gamer friends "not a gamer."

For gaming you'll shop for the 960M or better. Today, here in the USA I can find the Asus ROG with the 1050 Nvidia for just about 1K USD.
