Which MP3 players are compatible with macs beside the Ipods?

I hate ipods. however, as a present i recieved a brand new Apple imac G5. so, i'm going to be stuck with it for a while. in the meantime, i need an MP3 compatible with macs. my favorite are the rio carbon and the rio Karma.

Rio Carbon

I know the Carbon will work with Macs, but you have to download a plug-in for Macs so it can be recognized via iTunes, but note that music purchased from the iTMS will not work on the Carbon b/c the Carbon doesn't play AAC files, nor AAC w/ DRM protection; only MP3, WMA, WMA DRM, and Audible files will work on it regardless of your computer's OS.
