Hi,

I 'm planning to build my PC, Purpose to build virtual machine and networking related work. could you please help me in building my PC
I'm confused about Motherboard

All motherboards are good, in the sense that if they don't work you get a new one under warranty. And every maker (both Asus and Gigabyte and many others) has different models; some of those models might be better suited for your purpose than other.
What are you confused about?

Since each maker has more than a few models you need to narrow it down a little.

Start with the socket type you need.

Then you pick the size you want....itx/matx/atx.

Then you start looking at features...making the list smaller.

When you have it down to 3 or 4 mobo's visit the maker's site and verify the cpu you are going to use is on the support list.

Then you read some reviews.
