Which monitor to get?

<span id="INSERTION_MARKER">Hey guys,I am building a cheapish gaming computer and I am trying to choose a monitor for it. I have narrowed it down to my two favorite monitors which are the Asus VG248QE and BenQ XL2411Z. These are both very similar monitors. 24", 1ms grey to grey response time, 3D compatible, 144hz etc. However both have different inbuilt features, eg. the centered cross hairs on the Asus. Also on the Asus the contrast is quite a bit higher than the BenQ. Finally the BenQ (250 pounds) is 20 pounds cheaper than the Asus (270 pounds). So which would be the best choice to get? Considering I want it for intensive gaming, high end video editing and 3D capabilities
