Exactly what kind of gaming are you going to be doing? Are we talking really graphically intense stuff, or more that you just want to make sure the laptop has the memory and processing resources to handle the games?

Wow, I didn't know it would be that big of a difference between the two laptops. That really helps, thanks!
@CodyG: I plan to play games like assassins creed, bioshock, half-life 2, portal, gmod, etc.
If you're going to be doing graphics intense gaming like Assassin's Creed, etc., you might be better off with the 1GB card that comes with the Acer.
Thanks,
Cody
I have one other question about this. Is it true that if I buy this acer after july 1, I will get a free copy of windows 7 when it comes out? If so, how will I receive this copy?
Acer will make the offer but I'm not sure of what the date is.
A bunch of big Windows 7 announcements (pricing, etc.) just came out yesterday, actually. Here's the official announcement: http://windowsteamblog.com/blogs/windows7/archive/2009/06/25/announcing-the-windows-7-upgrade-option-program-amp-windows-7-pricing-bring-on-ga.aspx
I think you'll be particularly interested in the Windows 7 Upgrade Program for new laptop buyers! Let me know if you have any questions on the post, or just questions in general!
Thanks,
Cody
