- Might depend on your (technical) requirements. Building a webshop in Magento is quite different from building a forum in Joomla, for example, not to speak of the difference between using C## or Java for the backend. Being experienced in one doesn't mean at all you can do the other.
- Why limit yourself to companies in Bangalore? What's wrong with other cities or even countries?
- There's a difference between "the best" and "good". By definition, only one can be "best" while 1000 can be "good". What exactly are you asking for?

I need a travel site. I prefer a Bangalore based company as I lives in here. So that I will be able to discuss my ideas directly with them

That's a very good reason.

Find some in Google, look at their website, and if you find their portfolio convincing, contact their sales department with a summary of your ideas (an outline of the site you want to make).

There's quite a difference between a travel website like expedia.com or booking.com, the site of a tour operator and a site where a tourist can book local excursions. So just saying "I want a travel website and what will it cost?" doesn't work.

just more than a site like expedia.com

I just need a site more than a normal travel site. where travelers can write their experiences like a travel blogs and share images also about the routes the travels so that new one will be able to go there and also know about the possible odds on the route.may be this will help travelers. So site should be designed a responsive one and also a mobile friendly site. Have you heard about vistas ad media. It is a web design company in Bangalore. One of my friend suggested me this one... what is your opinion about them ??

I think there are at least 1000 web design companies in Bangalore. And I know none of them.

But it seems rather risky to base your decision on the advice of one of your friends in stead of on your own research, their own site, their portfolio, the reviews they get on review sites, the estimated price for your project and your impression of their sales and consultancy staff when you discuss your requirements with them.

I have gone thorough their web site.. It seems good. But I am not able to share the URL here as the moderator is continuously removing the post when I add their link. Don't know why they are doing this... Sad

I didn't remove it

But it could be spam. We see a lot of that here and Kees is nailing it on his replies.

It may not matter as to that company. It's all about how you feel about them and if you feel they can deliver, have shown you they can deliver and more.

A site like Expedia is going to cost. Figure a few million (USD) to get to that level.

I looked at their site vistasadindia(dot)com now, and it looks to me that they are more into logo and graphic design, ecommerce and content writing than into building an interactive, user-driven site like you want to have. So to me it seems a bad choice for you.
