Which is the Best to get for the Money

Dec 18, 2005 5:22AM PST

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out which is the best virus scan to buy. I have had Norton and my brother has McCafee. He's not to happy with McCafee and I have heard of one called Shield Pro 2006 that's supposed to be good but I haven't been able to find it at a retailers in SoCal. Any suggestions? Please advise!?

Thanks

How would you measure what's best?

Some will rank the AV (antivirus) by how lightly it loads the OS. Others will rank such by what happens when they call the support lines.

I'll share what I use today. Free AVG, Zone Alarm and an occasional scan with Housecall. I don't find any spyware of note since I use Mozilla 99.99% of the time.
