Which is the best free antivirus out there?

I have seen the thread about using more than one antivirus,my question is this,out of all the free antivirus tools out there which is the best?.

At the moment i am using AVG 8,i have never used anything else but this one,but i would like to try something different as i dont really like the new AVG.

I also use Ad-Aware and Spybot search and destroy which i like,im just not satisfied with the new AVG 8,it seems so much slower than previous versions,thanks..........Dave.

There's really no need to go over this because it's been discussed many, many times on these forums and others. (Do a search on our forums and read the various opinions of others. In addition, there are reviews on Google which will give you their opinon.. There is a post at the top of this forum with which you can try a number of free antivirus tools..

Since they're free, try them all.. When you find the one that you like best, you have your answer.
