I've stuck with the emulator from Google for years now. Works.

Answer
Let me share the closest I've ever seen it.

I made a bootable USB stick with Android x86 from http://www.android-x86.org/ and on our Asus x202e it works better than expected. The touch screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, Audio and all work fine along with keyboard and mousepad.

What more could we want?

I guess you could try installing that in Virtual Box.

Tried the same x86 image via virtual box

Hi Proffiitt,

I have tried the same x86 image with Oracle Virtual box, It supports features which you have mentioned ,But The apps performance and app compatibility are not proper. Even i cant find all the Google apps supported for this. So it seems little satisfactory for me.

Odd. All good here.

Performance seems OK here. The average programmer laptop at the office is some i7 16GB RAM so emulation seems to be on par with the real device. The x202e running Android x86 is fine too.

What is this app compatibility issue?
