I think your question could have done with a little more thought before you posted it.

Why you would be asking a none laptop question in a laptop forum is beyond me.

Not to mention there's no context to guide what the criteria are for comparing the two. Are we talking gaming, general computing, HPC, something else?

It's like the classic Ford v Chevy debate, or any other completely ambiguous and pointless discussion that only people with way too much time on their hands and no social life bother with.

The Mac Pro I see at is not a laptop and may be the most powerful personal computer you can get from "the names."

Alienware has over a dozen models so again, how could we begin this discussion?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
