First - the A85 will shortly be replaced with the A520. There are no reviews on the A520 yet but most likely it will perform much like the A85.
If you match image quality between the three, the A85 will lose because it is 4 meg and does not contain as much detail as a 5 meg camera.
If you compare the image quality between P100 and A95, you will find no measurable difference. Both produce excellent photos.
There is a difference in concept between the Sony and Canon cameras:
The Sony P100 is point and shoot and has many scene modes, but it does has a manual mode.
All of the Canon "A" series of cameras have a good set of manual controls with just a few scene modes.
The Canon A's provide: Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Program, and Manual settings.
Battery life will likely be about the same on all.
All have the same size LCD.
Sleek is in the eye of the beholder.

I want to buy a camera which has good image quality. I am confused to select one of the three I have shortlisted. I am also looking at sleek, good battery life and decent LCD display. Suggestions please...
