Which headphones to choose?

by fernando98 / October 12, 2011 5:30 AM PDT

I've been willing to own some quality headphones lately, so I decided to start looking for some ones. I spend a lot of my daily time (about an hour and a half) in public transport, where I plug in my earphones. And also I'm sort of a gamer in my free time.
To sum up I'd like to use the headphones to listen to music with my smartphone and different tasks with my laptop (games, movies, music...).

So the headphones must be:
- Phone compatible
- 3.5 Jack compatible

Also if they are not too big it would be great. Top price is 100€.
By now the best options seems to be the Sennheiser HD 449, but users on this page don't give a good review about them. I've also seen the AKG K540 but I can't find many info about them.

What do you think it would be the best option?

Thanks in advance.

I just picked up the NX80's from NoiseHush. They are a lesser known brand but my buddy works there and when I tried them I was blown away. The sound quality is great, they are super comfortable, and they aren't too bad of a price. I picked them up for like $65 I think. They got a little mic/call button on it too so you can answer your phone if you want.

I was thinking more about some around-ear headphones. They look like it
will give a better sound quality, but anyway the in-ear headphones are
always a valid option. Thanks for the advice.
