And yes, I went with the DSLR as I wanted the best shot over the video but wanted both.

Hi, I am wanting to upgrade my 2002 Sony Sure Shot with a new HD camcorder. However, I have no idea on what I should be looking to buy. I have a budget of approx. £250. Can I have some practical advice in terms of which features are important. I would like to be able to take still photos from the camcorder and the descriptions given are not very clear. What size mega pixel should I be looking at etc.? Any help would be very welcome. Thanks in advance...................
