Question

Which GPU is recommended?

#1
Hello,
I'm considering building a 700$ AMD PC Build
700$ spent in Switzerland is like 500$ in the US.

So I'm pairing Ryzen 5 2400g with a MSI
Radeon RX 570.
But I have two GPU models at almost the same price
I would like to know which one do you recommend;
- MSI RX 570 Armor OC 4GB VRAM 1168 MHz 7 GHz ( $158 )

- MSI Radeon RX 570 Armor 8GB VRAM 1168 MHz 1.75 GHz ( $161 )

(they might seem overpriced but remember this is in Switzerland)

The first GPU have the 'OC' in the name, does that mean that the second one is not overclockable?
I would like a PC Build that will stay relevant for me for couple years.

Given the way games are going.

I'd get the 8GB model. As to OC or not, I IGNORE! that and find benchmarks to tell the difference.

My goto GPU for entry level gaming is the 1050 Ti and with budget the 1060. I never look too hard at OC but get to the video RAM and benchmarks. DO NOT LET MARKETING AND PACKAGING MAKE THE CHOICE.

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti-vs-AMD-RX-570/3649vs3924 shows you are going to get a better 1080p gaming experience than the 1050 Ti.

Why the 2400g? I'd use what they use at PCMR: https://www.reddit.com/r/PCMasterRace/wiki/builds

Also, DO NOT BUY AMD 350 or prior motherboards. They show up here and at the shop too often. I bet they are moved out at a discount. COPY what's at PCMR.
