Which File Manager is good to use...

Jul 25, 2006 11:29AM PDT

Hello all, looking for a file manager for Win XP Pro, which permits me to see the sizes of the files on my drive and analyze where to cut back or remove etc.. I thought there was a program called tree something or other which did this and I cannot find. Yet my savvy buddies here can possibly point me in a direction which allows me to purchase a good program for this. Thanks for your insight.

TreeSize...

You're probably thinking of TreeSize by Jam Software, a program I'm frequently recommending for such situations. Unfortunately it doesn't meet your final criteria...it's not available for purchase...it's free. Happy

Hope this helps,
John

Try Ztree - for lovers of Xtree Gold
Jul 25, 2006 4:07PM PDT

ZTreeWin and ZTreeBold are native 32bit text-mode file/directory managers for Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP) and OS/2 respectively. They are modelled closely on the powerful text-mode file-manager XTree Gold(tm), but enhanced to take advantage of todays popular operating systems.
