Which DVD media the

Please can someone tell me which DVD media to use, I have a wedding on dvd, I want to send to a friend in america i have converted it from pal to ntsc, he alone has a standalone DVD Player, I don't know which is best DVD media for ntsc standalone DVD Players, should i use DVD+R or DVD-R, many thanks Alan

When the receiving doesn't know, I have to send both DVD-R and DVD+R disks. There is NO database of what DVD players play what type media. Don't get too upset about it because it's the result of the prolonged "format war" that never seemed to end and the end was... neither type wiped out the other.

Can't your friend tell what DVD capabilites thier reader has? Once found out, apply to that type of media. As Robert mentioned, it won't be totally out of line if both types of media are send to cover all bases hopefully.
