Too slow. My under 99 buck per backup drive made with Clonezilla (that's free!) restored just last year in about 20 minutes. I had an iffy HDD in a laptop so I had a chance to test the speed. Phenomenal.

I recently switched from Carbonite to Backblaze cloud backup service--I hope I am not making a mistake. I used Carbonite for years, then my computer died which was my first opportunity to actually use it. Restoring to the new PC was an absolute nightmare. It took well over a month, what with multiple crashes which meant starting over from scratch many times. In the meantime, I read several reviews indicating many others had endured similar torture plus the fact that Carbonite intentionally slows down under certain circumstances. I might add I consider the content of my computer to be fairly average in size. My question is: Does anybody have any experience(s) with Backblaze, or have any other preference for cloud backups?
