Don't buy Kodak or Pentax. Remember you also have to pay for an extra battery or set of batteries, a decent memory card and a bag. Don't buy the bag from the manufacture they are usually really expensive and a bit crap.
i am in the market for a digital camera, but knowing very little about them, I was quite overwhelmed with the number of choices available.
I am a business owner, and as such would like to be able to use the camera for pictures to be used in printed promotional material, print ads, as well as on our website.
I don't know much about photography in general, except that I do know what i like. I recently saw some pictures someone shot with a digital camera and i was somewhat disappointed with the resolution (don't remember the make, but it is the one you see on commercials that it doesn't need a computer to print). I don't even know what features I should be looking for. I consider myself a relatively intelligent person, so I don't mind dealing with the learning curve, but i am also short on time (which is why I am asking for your opinion), so if it has too many features, that may be a bit cumbersome. My price range is probably somewhere around the below $700 range. any suggestions?
