which camera should i get for tennis photos?

Hi Im a college student and am really looking into getting a mid-range($500-$1000) DSLR camera with the main purpose of taking tennis pictures. Ive put alot of time into looking into the different options I have but am having a hard time deciding. I would like to be able to use the camera for a while so I wont have to upgrade anytime soon since im not full of money. Im really interested in the sony a55 model with its 10 fps ability but im not sure if that is even that good or useful. I would almost prefer to have a camera that would take a better single shot image. So if anyone knows or could recommend me with a camera that i could get that would be awesome! thanks!
