A good way to find out,

is to install it and try it. Your system will manage quite happily with more than one browser installed, and in fact will even work with more than one browser type open at the same time.

If you don't like it, then uninstall it.

Good luck.

Firefox has more cons than you think...

Some cons about Firefox:
- It crashes frequently
- It is very slow compared to Google Chrome and/or Opera
- It has a slow start-up time compared to Google Chrome
- It is sometimes painful to re-arrange tabs or make them into windows because it is not very smooth as Google Chrome or Safari.

My Recommendation: Try Google Chrome. It is the bomb! Grin

It think it's good to try alternatives

Like mentioned before, try Chrome
Although I must mention; their beta still has some issues if you're using a mac.
I for myself signed up for the paladin beta - http://www.getpaladin.be
I'm looking forward to use a non-crashy browser.

Forget about IE

Forget about IE! The more I see people using it, the more they complain!

Chrome and Firefox can be really different, but they sure are better in terms of speed and security...also with their extensions they can offer a high number of features that you wouldn't even dream of using IE!

If speed is your need choose Chrome.

If features and you want to everything with your browser, choose Firefox
