which bridge camera should I buy?

My budget is around $450.

Why do you want one? It helps to know what you want to photograph, otherwise a recommendation could be way off-base. If you want it for the long zoom and for outdoors, they work well. But if you want it for indoor sports, or sports under the lights, none will be good. The main thing is, bridge cameras have tiny sensors, so they don't really offer better image quality compared to travel zoom cameras like the Canon SX230 HS or Sony HX9V.

Within your budget, my pick would be the Panasonic FZ150, for its DSLR-like controls and features. If you are more of an auto only shooter, the Sony HX200V is a good pick. But unless you really want the long, long zoom lens, the travel zooms are just as good in a much more compact form-factor.

I will use it for indoor as well as outdoor photography...no sports photography.What about nikon p510???what ever is the camera I want the best image quality...sony nex 5 and canon rebel t3 also come under my budget...dont have any problem if it doesnt have long zoom.
