which AV?

i have a black macbook and it runs perfect so far. but it's a crazy world out there, do i still need an antivirus? just in case..
which one will u suggest?

i'm also curious about mac's update schedule. is it automated? do i have to set up anything or my mac will done it for me? i usually connect w/ internet every night.

thx guys.

ClamavX is a good free program.

Currently there are no known viruses for Mac OS X in the wild.
That's zero, nada, none.

google for it

haha, i'm so embarrased. my post earlier showed how much paranoiac i was about virus intrusion. i'm sorry. it's just that i've been too long hangin' round that PC thing. and the concept of turning computer on without AntiVirus is not familiar w/ me.
well then, thx God i made the switch. mostly because of u guys and the forum that encourage me to switch.
